Purchased a 2024 Tiguan and 2024 Atlas on 12/21/2024. Chris was our sales person and Joe was his manager. These two exemplify what professionalism is. this was by far the best buying experience of a new vechicle my wife and I ever had, and we have had Honda's, Chevy's, Mitsubishi's, Volvo's, Nissan's, and Ford's. None of the other dealerships come close to what we experienced buying these two vehicles. Joe and Chris are both very thorough in explaining each step and as buyers appreciate their patience with our questions that they must hear every day.

Just a great experience. Buying a car always seems to be stressful . As a husband and father there really doesn’t seem to be enough time . I saw our new to us Tiguan on car gurus yesterday and placed an inquiry about it through the website . Toni called me within 5 mins asking about my inquiry . While knowing that it’s the role of a sales person to attract sales I was still impressed with her response after explaining that I am extremely busy with work and life for me to look at the car . I asked when they opened she informed me that they open at 9 am and understood my time restrictions. Before the dealership even open she was in correspondence with me trying to expedite the process of just potentially purchasing a car from them . Took a brief test drive and I asked to work numbers. With todays market I was informed that new VW where offering 0% apr ! David the manager asked me a couple questions and with out hesitation starting playing out numbers both new and used for us. The whole experience was pressure free . Terms of my potential purchase was just printed out for me to look over and asking what I thought. We came to terms on the used model. I came to look at and was out the door in 2 hours ! I normally don’t write reviews but wanted to take the time to this evening to make sure the staff members today get some recognition for doing a great job ! I highly recommended them !

Hands-down, one of the best dealerships I’ve ever dealt with. My husband and I purchased a 2022 atlas three years ago and that’s when they were made during Covid and a lot of things were not available on the vehicles at that time and probably not made very well also so skip to a couple days ago. My husband and I finally said enough is enough with all the problems that we had with the vehicle and we finally contacted The dealership that we went to, and we had an appointment with the general manager, but Thomas and John Steered us away from that meeting and said why don’t we just try to put you in a 2025 atlas?! My husband and I did not want to in the beginning because we put so much money down on our previous vehicle that we thought we were not going to get anything in return and we would be upside down and going into a new vehicle. While I was with John doing the financials my salesman Thomas helped me with my four month old daughter because talking financials with a screaming child does not work very well and he did a amazing job on keeping her calm and happy and what an amazing experience I had. Also let me throw in there that Thomas carried the car seat around so I didn’t have to also transferred it into the vehicle for me to test drive and when we came to pick up the vehicle, he transferred the car seat base for me. John also went over and beyond to speak to VW about our problems and our situation and he was able to go over and beyond for us and make us both happy again with our vehicle! I cannot think both of them enough for making me feel so comfortable again driving with my three young daughters and just being very happy about the vehicle I drive. If you are looking for a Volkswagen by far visit, St Augustine of Volkswagen, you will not be upset about that decision! I just wanna say thank you again to the both of you! And Thomas, I know my little Elora will remember you when we have to stop in for maintenance.

From the first step through the front door, to the day I drove out of the parking lot in my new car, I have nothing but positive things to say about every person I spoke with and every interaction I had. Travis, who kindly gave me all the time I needed to test drive multiple models to determine which one was the perfect fit for me, was incredibly patient and seemed happy to answer every question I had along the way. Shopping for a new car is a daunting and frustrating experience for many people. The main variable that can turn what is often an ordeal into a pleasant experience is the right salesperson working for a great dealership. Case in point: Thomas Richard at Volkswagen of St. Augustine. I purchased my 2024 GTI 380 Autobahn from Thomas on Thursday, January 9th, and the entire purchase process was seamless. The only hiccup was on my end, as my purchase depended on the sale of my existing vehicle to a friend. That process took longer than I'd have liked. But despite being in business to move cars, Thomas was patient, understanding, and upbeat—in addition to being very enthusiastic about getting me into a Golf R instead of the GTI, an effort at which he was very nearly successful.
I'm not savvy enough to know whether or not I drove off that day having gotten the very best deal humanly possible. But I do know that throughout the entire process, Thomas was completely transparent about the cost of the car and that everything was very clearly spelled out in writing every step of the way. At no point was I presented with any add-ons that some (read: most) dealerships try to sneak in (example: the $1000 screen protector and the $1300 Scotchgard treatment that two other dealers slipped into their work-up sheets without a word).
I've bought a lot of new cars over the years, and I've learned that a salesperson who loves what he does and wants nothing more than to put his customers in cars they love can make the car-buying experience a fun and exciting one. Thomas Richard at Volkswagen of St. Augustine is that salesperson. If you even think you might be in the market for a new VW, give him a call.

Hands-down, one of the best dealerships I’ve ever dealt with. My husband and I purchased a 2022 atlas three years ago and that’s when they were made during Covid and a lot of things were not available on the vehicles at that time and probably not made very well also so skip to a couple days ago. My husband and I finally said enough is enough with all the problems that we had with the vehicle and we finally contacted The dealership that we went to, and we had an appointment with the general manager, but Thomas and John Steered us away from that meeting and said why don’t we just try to put you in a 2025 atlas?! My husband and I did not want to in the beginning because we put so much money down on our previous vehicle that we thought we were not going to get anything in return and we would be upside down and going into a new vehicle. While I was with John doing the financials my salesman Thomas helped me with my four month old daughter because talking financials with a screaming child does not work very well and he did a amazing job on keeping her calm and happy and what an amazing experience I had. Also let me throw in there that Thomas carried the car seat around so I didn’t have to also transferred it into the vehicle for me to test drive and when we came to pick up the vehicle, he transferred the car seat base for me. John also went over and beyond to speak to VW about our problems and our situation and he was able to go over and beyond for us and make us both happy again with our vehicle! I cannot think both of them enough for making me feel so comfortable again driving with my three young daughters and just being very happy about the vehicle I drive. If you are looking for a Volkswagen by far visit, St Augustine of Volkswagen, you will not be upset about that decision! I just wanna say thank you again to the both of you! And Thomas, I know my little Elora will remember you when we have to stop in for maintenance.

From the first step through the front door, to the day I drove out of the parking lot in my new car, I have nothing but positive things to say about every person I spoke with and every interaction I had. Travis, who kindly gave me all the time I needed to test drive multiple models to determine which one was the perfect fit for me, was incredibly patient and seemed happy to answer every question I had along the way. When it comes to Seth, I can't think of the last time I purchased something for myself and felt like I had someone trying just as hard, if not even harder, to make the best deal possible happen for me. He's a true working example of above and beyond. Then Joe to put the bow on the whole perfect experience with a thorough yet quick and efficient closing. Shopping for a new car is a daunting and frustrating experience for many people. The main variable that can turn what is often an ordeal into a pleasant experience is the right salesperson working for a great dealership. Case in point: Thomas Richard at Volkswagen of St. Augustine. I purchased my 2024 GTI 380 Autobahn from Thomas on Thursday, January 9th, and the entire purchase process was seamless. The only hiccup was on my end, as my purchase depended on the sale of my existing vehicle to a friend. That process took longer than I'd have liked. But despite being in business to move cars, Thomas was patient, understanding, and upbeat—in addition to being very enthusiastic about getting me into a Golf R instead of the GTI, an effort at which he was very nearly successful.
I'm not savvy enough to know whether or not I drove off that day having gotten the very best deal humanly possible. But I do know that throughout the entire process, Thomas was completely transparent about the cost of the car and that everything was very clearly spelled out in writing every step of the way. At no point was I presented with any add-ons that some (read: most) dealerships try to sneak in (example: the $1000 screen protector and the $1300 Scotchgard treatment that two other dealers slipped into their work-up sheets without a word).
I've bought a lot of new cars over the years, and I've learned that a salesperson who loves what he does and wants nothing more than to put his customers in cars they love can make the car-buying experience a fun and exciting one. Thomas Richard at Volkswagen of St. Augustine is that salesperson. If you even think you might be in the market for a new VW, give him a call.

These two exemplify what professionalism is. this was by far the best buying experience of a new vechicle my wife and I ever had, and we have had Honda's, Chevy's, Mitsubishi's, Volvo's, Nissan's, and Ford's.
